John Larry Hughes

John Larry “Tiger” Hughes, age 68 of Loudon, passed away October 16, 2022 at Parkwest Medical Center. He was a retired fireman from the Loudon City Fire Department. Mr. Hughes was preceded in death by wife, Rebecca Henderson Hughes; parents, John L. and Mary Nelle Giles Hughes; mother-in-law, Georgia Marie Anderson; father-in-law, Thomas Payne. He is survived by wife, Susan Anderson Hughes, of Lenoir City; daughter, Cynthia Miles and husband Eddie; grandson, Dallas Miles; god-daughter, Macy Ontiveros; god-son, Chris Rowe; sisters, Pat Reynolds and husband, Donald, of Sweetwater, Brenda Kyle, of Sweetwater and Betty Rolen, of Loudon; brother-in-law, Tim Anderson; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 1pm at Roberson Cemetery with Rev. Gary Cook officiating.
