John Perkins

John Perkins, age 61 of Loudon County, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. He was a preacher and a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. John worked for Walt Williams and Vytron. He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Francis Perkins. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn Thomas Perkins; son, Shannon Thomas and wife Hayley of Lenoir City; daughters, Deanna Perkins of Lenoir City, and Crissy McCall and husband, Brad of Knoxville; grandchildren, Tyler, Bryson, Braylen, Abrianna, Brody, Lily and Jaxson; sisters, Carolyn Williams and husband, Arnold; and Mary Ann Perkins; brother, William Lester Perkins; nieces, Missy Jenkins and husband, Jessie, Ashley Perkins, Brittany Williams and Bailey Williams; nephews, Josh Perkins, Brian Williams, Chris Williams, Nathan Perkins, Jessie Jenkins, Jr. and Jordan Jenkins. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Danny Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
