John Moore

John C. Moore, 79 of the Paint Rock community, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his residence. He loved drag racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lennie Moore; brothers, Harold Martin Moore and Kenneth Moore and sister, Mae Catherine Moore. John is survived by his wife of 47 years, Beverly Moore; sons, Joe and Rhonda Moore of Paint Rock, Rick Moore of Madisonville; daughter, Julie and Mark Swiastyn of Michigan; grandson, Brandon Moore and his fiance' Miranda Watts and a soon to be great grandson, Carter Moore; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren; He is also survived by brothers, Will Edd and Sissy Moore, Fred and Janet Moore, Randall and Phyllis Moore and Paul Moore; sisters, Karen and Billy Barr and Norma Craig; special sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Frank Crawford and special friend Lee Woods. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 5pm - 7pm. at Loudon Funeral Home, with the funeral service following at 7pm. Rev. Neal Turner and Rev.Ted Halcomb will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 11am Thursday, at Tennessee Chapel Cemetery for the graveside service. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
