Jimmy L. Lones, 68- of Niota, passed away Friday evening at Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens. He is preceded in death by parents; Rev Walter and Mary Elizabeth (Ledford) Lones; infant brother, Charles Lones. Survivors; wife, Nina Goines Wattenbarger Lones; sons, James Edward and Linda Lones of Philadelphia, Glenn Raymond and Jane Wattenbarger of Niota; daughters, Mary Jane and Mark Chrisman of Sweetwater, Pamela Taylor of Sweetwater, Rebecca (Bitt) and Allen Hutsell of Decatur, Jeannie and Eddie Laudermilk of Niota; Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sisters, Betty and G.E. Sitzlar of Ten Mile, Edith Osborne of Decatur, Wanda and Frankie Scott of Paint Rock and Mary and Charlie Scott of Sweetwater. Funeral service 7 p.m. Tuesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Webb and Rev. Johnny Goines officiating. Interment 1 p.m. Wednesday, Reed Springs Church Cemetery.
