Jeffrey Matthew Hughes, age 62 of Loudon passed away on Thursday, June 11th, 2026.  

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Hughes and Susan Lawson; and uncle, Bill Hughes.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Michelle Hughes; daughter, Staci Hughes and husband Robert; son, Spencer Deaver and wife Haylee; grandchildren, Christopher and Kyler McCulley, Karsyn and Haisley Massey, and Henlee Deaver; sister, Tammy Newbolds and husband Randy; brother, B.J. Hughes and wife Missy; special uncle, Floyd Hughes and wife Judy; Special friends, Greg Bright, and Darren Lawson; Jeffrey is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 14th, 2026 from 2-4 PM in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 4 PM with Pastor Tommy Roberts, Pastor David Cooper, and Pastor Mike Williams officiating.  The graveside service will follow immediately after at Byrds Chapel Cemetery.
