Jeffery “Jeff” Lynn Shope, age 65, of Sweetwater, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 3, 2026. He loved to fish and play golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ann Shope; and his sister, Sephonia “Sonya” Shope Lemons.
He is survived by his spouse, Billie Ann; brother, Eddie Shope; nieces, Felisha Shope, Jessica Stamey, and Marisa Lemons; and several cousins and extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Billy Joe Cansler officiating. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Sweetwater Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Pace, Davey Ezell, Stevie Garrett, Will Stallcup, Derek Stallcup, and Eric Stallcup.
