James Stair

James Clifford "Jack" Stair, 85, passed away May 18, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Jack's life revolved around his family and his farm. He attended Paint Rock Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents and twelve brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Opalene Baker Stair; children, James Stair,Jr (Jo Ann Montooth), Janet Johnson (Johnny), Peggy Rackstraw (Larry), Georgiella Thompson (Houston) and Billy Joe Stair (Sandy); grandchildren, Cindy Crawford (Damian), Jackie Lynn, Jeremy and Kenny Kile (Ashley), Jessica Henry (Ricky) and Joshalyn Phillips (Logan); great grandchildren, Devin and Dequin Kile, Arianna and Ava Crawford, Cheyanne and Kiara Phillips, Annabel and Beau Tiberius Henry; sister, Lois Viar and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5pm - 7pm Monday prior to the funeral service. Funeral service will be 7pm Monday, May 21, 2018, at Loudon Funeral Home with Rev. J. W. Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11am Tuesday at Galyon Cemetery for the graveside service. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
