James Mitchell

James Ed Mitchell, age 90 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.  He is preceded in death by wife, Edna Louise Mitchell; son, Donnie Mitchell; sister, Anna Lou Thearp; and brothers, Frank, Harvey, and Alvin Mitchell, John Henry and Ernest Ramsey. James is survived by sons, Jim, Terry, Dennis, and Clay Mitchell; 15 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Loudon Funeral Home.  The graveside service will be at 9am Saturday morning at Union Fork Creek Cemetery.  Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is in charge of the arrangements.
