James "JD" Guider

James Douglas Guider, Sr. “JD”, 72 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 2:28 a.m.

James was the son of the late James and Pauline Guider, of Loudon and brother to Billy.  He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Guider, of Loudon; sons, Michael Shubert (Talia) and James Douglas Guider, Jr. (Kendra), of Loudon; his four grandchildren, Joseph, Jaden, Jaxon and Little JD; siblings, Kathey Lilly (Ken), their daughter, Jessica Lilly, and their son, Chris Lilly, and Jan Guider, of Madisonville, Melvin Guider (Betty) and their son, Kevin and daughter, Lori, of Philadelphia.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
