Jack W. Melson 66 of Kingston passed away Saturday August 22, 2015 at home. Jack was retired from the Knoxville Police Department and a U.S. Marine. Preceded in death by; parents, Virgil and Florence Gann Melson. Survivors, wife of 48 ½ years Sandra McClurg Melson, sons, Jack D. Melson of Knoxville, James D. Melson of Loudon. 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Edna Harris and Calvin, of Kingston, Georgie "Henry" England and Paul of Knoxville. Funeral services 7 p.m. Monday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Greg Harper officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday at Ballards Chapel Cemetery for graveside services with full military honors. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7 :00 p.m. Monday at Loudon Funeral Home www.loudonfuneralhome.net
