Helen Clinton

Helen (Hanky) Clinton went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, She was a member of First Baptist Church of Philadelphia and was a devoted Christian, wife and mother. She was 84 years old. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Jonah and Bertha (Davis) Jaynes; brothers, Cecil "Cy", Kenneth and Edsil "Dooley" Jaynes; and sister, Gladys Robertson. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, James "John" Clinton; sons and daughters-in-law, Gregg and Carlene Clinton, Aurora IL, Tony Clinton, Houston TX, and Mark and Pam Clinton, Athens TN; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Tommy "Corky" Jones, Sweetwater, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan Clinton, Hanna Clinton, Kristin Clinton, Christopher Jones, Ben Jones and Mike Jones; sister, Juanita Malone of Chattanooga; special friends, Violet Holt, Loudon and Wanda Millsaps, Philadelphia. Services honoring Helen will be Sunday, 7:30 PM, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Courtney officiating. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
