Gregory Kent Wilson

Gregory Kent Wilson, age 70, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on May 2, 2026.

Greg was born on April 11, 1956, in Beloit, Wisconsin. His family later relocated to Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where he attended school and went on to graduate from Farragut High School.

Greg provided for his family as a delivery route driver, with his last employer being Robert Orr Sysco. During his time there, he earned the nickname “One Way.”

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Edward D. Wilson and Peggy Boyd Wilson; his brother, Steve Wilson; his sister, Barbara (“Babs”) Pippin; and his granddaughter, Bayleigh Brock.

Greg was of the Baptist faith and was saved on Easter Sunday in 1991 while attending Woodlawn Baptist Church. He later attended Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Lenoir City, Tennessee.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Faye Wilson; his daughters, Brandi Hancock, Bree Jones Brock, and bonus daughter Alyson Feazell, all of Loudon, Tennessee; his brother, Ed Wilson of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; his grandsons, Braxton Brock and Brody Brock of Knoxville, Tennessee; his granddaughter, Maggie Ruth Jones of Loudon, Tennessee; his sister-in-law, Phyllis Wilson of Knoxville, Tennessee; his brother-in-law, Mike Pippin of LaGrange, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

Braxton, Brody, and Maggie were the shining lights of his life. He loved them with every ounce of his being and cherished every minute he spent with them. He also enjoyed time with his bonus grandchildren, Asia Jones and Noah Ewell.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at UT Hospice, who cared for Greg and treated them like family—especially his nurses, Christian and Ella, and his CNA, Emily.
