KIRKLAND, GERDA L. - 85 of Loudon, passed away Friday evening, November 16, 2012 at Loudon Health Care. Gerda was preceded in death by parents, Edgar and Dora Mainor Kirkland; brothers-in-law, Bill Bingham and Zenith Watts. Survivors: brother, Ernest "Bokie" Kirkland and wife Pauline; sisters, Alma Bingham, Beulah Watts, Margaret Kirkland, and Elizabeth Simpson and husband Joe, all of Loudon; nieces and nephews. Funeral services 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Benny Watson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mt. Zion Cemetery 10:30 a.m. Monday for graveside services. Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Loudon Funeral Home. wwwloudonfuneralhome.net.
