Garlin Gentry

November 4, 1937 — April 3, 2017

Garlin Avery Gentry, 79, of Loudon County, Tennessee passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Fort Loudoun Medical Center from a long battle with congestive heart failure. He leaves behind his wife, Movita (Hart) Gentry; his daughter, Wanda Phillips; his son, Franklin Hart and wife, Betty Hart; his cousins, Red & Jett, Melvin, & Tom; his 3 Grandchildren,Thomas, Kelsey & Bryson Nichols; and many close friends & family. He was the son of Luke & Arlie Gentry. In his early years, Mr. Gentry worked for the Chair Factory in Loudon County, which he later retired from. Mr. Gentry had a passion for tractors & spent his retirment tinkering with his prized Massey Fergusons. He enjoyed going dancing with his wife, fishing, hunting & adored his cat Prance. Family & Friends will be gathering for a private burial service.
