Freddy Watson

Freddy L. Watson, age 68 of Sweetwater, passed away Wednesday in Nashville. He was a member and former choir director at Shelton Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Maremont. Preceded in death by parents, Mack and Mamie Green Watson; brothers, Francis, Verlon, Bernard and Raymond Watson. He is survived by wife, Brenda White Watson; children, Lisa Watson of McMinn Co., Cheryl Young of Sweetwater, Joseph Lynn and wife, April of Sweetwater, Chris Watson and wife, Jessica of Lenoir City; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; Sisters, Reba Cathcart of Loudon, Lois Holder of Lenoir City, Janice Cole of Cleveland, Trula Zecco of Nashville, Annette Morgan of Loudon, Brenda Starritt and Ronnie of Loudon. Brothers, Glen, Roy and Jerry Watson and wife Vickie, all of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Watson officiating. Interment following the service at Shelton Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Loudon Funeral Home.
