Preceded in death by father, Frank Claxton, Sr.; sister, Janet Thornton. Survivors: wife of 21 years, Mary Helen Woods Claxton; daughters, Ashley & Chely Claxton, Andrea Tallent & husband, Kevin; son, Scott McAmis, Loudon; two grandchildren, Beth Ann Tallent & Jaiden Dixon; mother & step father, Carol & Charles Cook, Union, KY; sisters, Debbie Honaker, Dayton, KY & Tammy Claxton, Union, KY; special brothers in law & fishing buddies, George Woods & wife, Linda, Earl Hendrickson & wife, Deloris, Greenback; brother in law, Jim Woods & wife, Nora, Loudon; sister in law, Fran Bright & husband, Lynn, Greenback; nieces & nephews, Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel.
