Floyd Lawson

Floyd Lawson, age 81 of Loudon, passed away on February 27, 2024. He was retired from Hubbell in Lenoir City and also worked at Yale & Towne.  He loved working on cars and worked at the county garage and his garage at home.  He liked going to turkey shoots, building things and riding motorcycles.  He always called everyone a turkey head, girl-girl or boy-boy.  He loved his family , friends and his dogs. 

Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Lawson; parents, Ike & Rosie Lawson; brothers, Isaac, Bobby, James and Robert “Doc” Lawson; sisters, Louise, Gertie and Geneva; son, Billy Lawson and daughters, Elizabeth Tielleman and Kellie Abert.  He is survived by his brother, Fred Lawson; sister, Wilma McKelvey; sons, Eddie Lawson and Jamie Lawson; stepchildren, Jeff Hughes and Tammy Newbolds; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home.
