Evelyn Johnson Akin, of Loudon, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017, at her home. Preceded in death by husband of 71 years, Sherman T. Akin, Sr.; children, Sherman Akin, Jr., Deborah Bonner, Susan Akin, and Gary Akin. Survived by children, Robert Akin , of Johnson City and Sharon Dotson, of Loudon; 13 grandchildren and several great- grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
