BLANKENSHIP, ERNEST, JR. - 91, of Loudon, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014. Junior was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and retired employee of K-25 Oak Ridge. Veteran of WWII, Army. Preceded in death by wives, Betty Jacob Blankenship and Louise Morgan Blankenship; parents, Ernest and Susie Cagle Blankenship, Sr.; siblings, Marjorie Wilcox, Cabe and Coy Blankenship. Survivors: children, Susan (Floyd) Lawson, Loudon, Ernest Lee (Frances) Blankenship, Lenoir City; five grandchildren, Jeff Hughes, Tammy Newbolds, Danny, Aaron, Frances Blankenship; three great granddaughters; sisters, Bobbie Lee (Jim) Grimes, Loudon, Benita Blankenship, Oklahoma; brother, Johnny Blankenship, Loudon; sister-in-law, Nellie (Jim) McNabb, Philadelphia. Funeral services 6:00 p.m., Saturday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Interment 10:00 a.m., Sunday, New Macedonia Cemetery.
