Edward L. Smith

Edward Lee Smith, age 80, of Loudon, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from Maremont. He enjoyed playing golf, collecting things, and listening to the trading post.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Smith; parents, Warren and Margie Smith; sister, Polly Johnson; and brothers, Tony Smith, Kyle Smith, and Danny Ray Smith.

He is survived by his children, Michael Smith and wife Dana, Vicky Smith and husband Brian, and Annette Gallaher and husband Jason; grandchildren, Wendy Lawrence, Raven Thompson and husband Mike, Amber Montgomery and husband Anthony, Michael Roy Smith and wife Kimberly, Victoria Huichapa and husband Jessi, Anthony Craig, and Brandon Gallaher; brothers, Glen Smith and wife Penny, and David Smith and wife Martha; sister, Linda Smith and husband Mark; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 5–7 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Gary Cook officiating. Graveside service will be Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
