Edna Mildred Lonas Dawson, 89, of Sweetwater passed away Friday July 13, 2012 at Sweetwater Nursing Center. Edna was a member of Union-Mcminn Co. Baptist Church. and preceded in death by husband, Arrants Dawson; daughter, Linda Alexander; son, Dean Dawson; grandson, Calvin Dawson: parents, Alex & Callie Lonas. survivors; children and spouses, Billy Joe and Anna Dawson, Betty Jean and James Cardin, Alvin and Denise Dawson, of Sweetwater, Karen and Delbert "Rocky" Doss, Athens; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. Funeral services 4 p.m. Sunday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Alexander Officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Monday Sweetwater Memory Gardens.
