Edith Brown

Edith Irene Thompson Brown, age 95 of Knoxville, formerly of Loudon, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. She was the Director of the Tennessee School of Beauty in Oak Ridge.

Edith is preceded in death by her husband, C.B. “Buster” Brown; parents, Carl and Mary Elizabeth Thompson; sisters, Trula Hooker, Louise Dyer, Frances Schubert, Allene Rott and Ruth Snider; brothers, Blaine Thompson, Robert Thompson and Charles Thompson; step-son, Gordon Brown. She is survived by step-daughter, Sondra Brody; several grandchildren; niece, Carolyn Nichols and other special great-nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at New Steekee Cemetery.
