Dora Ann Lowe

Dora Ann Lowe, age 78, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was born and raised in Loudon, attended local schools and loved Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly. Her kids, grandkids and great grandkids meant the world to her. She loved spending time with her sisters, recently talked about how happy she was to have gotten two parakeets and how excited she was to make snow cream. She joked just last week that she wanted to build a snowman however it was too cold to get out.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband; James Lowe Sr., Son; Mark Lowe, parents; Paul and Josephine Berry, sister; Betty Roberts, brothers; Allen Berry and Sterling Berry.  She is survived by her children; James Lowe Jr., daughter Patricia Brown, son-in-love Ryan; grandchildren Jessica Weatherwax (Nick), Jake Lowe (Kayla), Savannah Fike, Alyssa Lowe (Miguel), Katelynn Brown and Mathew Brown. Great grandchildren Aliyah, Kaiden, Sophie, Mason, and Santiago; sisters Patsy Willis, Jerry Ramsey, Kay Pitts and Frankie Jenkins; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Loudon Funeral Home.  Rev. Sammy Thomas will be officiating.
