HUGHES, DORA MARKWOOD - 86, of Loudon, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at River Oaks Place, Loudon. Dora was a member of Corinth Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Bill Hughes; infant son, Robert Allen Hughes; parents, Hugh and Ersa White Markwood; sisters, Jane Rhea, Carolyn Croft, Lois Markwood. Survivors: children and spouses, Charles and Cindy Hughes, Chattanooga, Janice and Arthur Kelso, Loudon, Tim and Teresa Hughes, Madisonville, Roy and Rhonda Hughes, Knoxville; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Tilley, Loudon, Sue Greene, Atlanta; brother, Harold Markwood, Texas; nieces and nephews. Funeral services 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Arp officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m., Friday, Loudon County, Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Visitation: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Loudon Funeral Home. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
