Donna Kyle Kiser

Donna Kyle Kiser, age 69, of Loudon, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, at Parkwest Medical Center.

Early in life, Donna learned the importance of faith by watching her father and mother, Don and Virginia Kyle, and their devotion to God. As a result, Donna accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young child and lived out her own life with the same faith and joy. Likewise, her parents’ devotion to each other was the model for her own marriage when she and her high school sweetheart, Steve Kiser, tied the knot at Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church on March 27, 1976. Celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2026, they fulfilled the marriage vows made that day before God, to truly love and cherish each other for better and for worse, for richer and for poorer, and in sickness and in health, till death they did part.

From this union, Donna was blessed with two children, and eventually a daughter- and son-in-law. The best was yet to come, however, with the arrival of three grandchildren. Her boundless love for them was often expressed through thoughtful gifts and sweet treats, as only a mother and grandmother can do. Her love for her sisters and their families; her many aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as for her church family and her Sunday school class were cornerstones in her life.

Donna had several jobs throughout her life, but her calling was always as a hairstylist, following in her mother’s footsteps and taking it to a master level. Her family and friends benefited from her talents, and many of her clients ended up being lifelong friends. Donna enjoyed her flower gardens and cooking. She could talk for hours about flowers and recipes, and she loved to sing and share her testimony with all those she met. Many sweet hours were spent over coffee, sharing her passions.

Donna’s life exemplified true purpose and love for her Lord, family, and community. She will be greatly missed, but her family and friends know a joyous reunion and reception is taking place in heaven.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Virginia Kyle.

Donna is survived by her husband, Steve Kiser; children, Samuel Kiser (Liliana) and Stephanie Cook (Adam); grandchildren, Canaan, Silas, and EllieRose.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Corinth, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Rev. Adam Cook will officiate. A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Vonore Baptist Church Cemetery.
