Donald Hugh Maynard, 78 of Oak Grove Rd., Madisonville passed away at his home Monday-April 19, 2010. Veteran of the Koren conflict serving in the U.S. Army. Hugh was a minister of the gospel and a member of Steekee Creek Baptist Church. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather. preceded in death by parents, Sam and Maggie Loud Ritchey Maynard. surviviors; wife of 57 years, Helen McHaffey Maynard; children and spouses, Mary Lou and Wilford Brewington, Loudon, Patricia and Dwight Allen, Philadelphia, Ronnie and Gail Maynard, Madisonville, Eddie and Wanda Maynard, Loudon: 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grand-children; brothers, Delmar Maynard, Vonore, Wayne Maynard and wife, Vernie, Loudon, sister: Dorthy "Sis" Liford, Loudon, Funeral services 7 p.m. Tuesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. with Rev. Rick Kirkland and Rev. Dustin Risher Officiating. Interment Simpson cemetery 2 p.m. Wednesday with Military honors by Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard.
