Deborah “Debi” Owassa Lane, age 73, of Loudon, passed away on October 1, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was a nurse for 35 years, an avid reader, loved to crochet and go camping.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James “Jr.” Lane; her parents, Bobby and Dee Arnold; and her brother, Tim Arnold.
Debi is survived by her daughter, Nicole Lane Crisp and husband, Jeff; sons, Brian Lane and Robbie Lane and wife, Trish; grandchildren, Hannah Crisp Dudley and husband, Will, Jackson Lane and wife, Athena, Joshua Lane, Gabriel Lane, Morgan Crisp, Nicholas Lane, Henry Lane, and Gibbs Lane; great-grandson, Thorin Lane; siblings, Sabrina Cordell, Michael Arnold, and Anne Marie Melvin; step-mother, Lou Arnold, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with David Choate officiating. The graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Loudon County Memorial Gardens.
