David Lamar Sledge, age 67 of Sweetwater passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. David is preceded in death by parents, John Henry and Juanita Ramsey; Half brother, Gary Bethune.
David is survived by brothers Henry “Butch” Sledge, Freddie Sledge, Keith Sledge and Michael Bethune; Sisters, Sherrie Harris and Brenda Gail Brown; Step Mother, Mary Sue Sledge; Special aunts, Rosie Sledge and Mae Sledge; David is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of Loudon Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM. Rev. Gary Cook will be officiating. The graveside service will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Rockville Cemetery.
