David Charles Ridings

David Charles Ridings, age 75 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on February 26, 2026. He loved fishing and was a very talented carpenter. He was a member of Blairland Baptist Church. He was an avid spectator at all of his grandchildren's sporting events.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Ridings; father, Don Ridings; and stepfather, Sam Collins.

He is survived by his mother, Janie Collins; sisters, Joyce Ridings and Donna Rhea; brother, Larry Collins (Lisa); daughter-in-law, Tammy Ridings; grandsons, Caden Ridings, Crimson Ridings, and Garret Broda (Zada); granddaughter, C’rez Whaley (Darren); great-grandchildren, Raleigh, DyKiah, De’Rez, D’Asia, Brynlee, and Blaire; special cousins, Kenny Ridings and Maudie Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 5–7 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Gene Farmer and Jon Henson officiating. The graveside service will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, at 10 AM at Riverview Cemetery.
