Listen to Obituary

Danny Ray Caldwell, 72, of Lenoir City, TN went to his heavenly home on Sunday October 26, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Flora Caldwell, daughter Kasi Danielle Caldwell and long time friend Randy Rolen.

He is survived by his son Warren E. Caldwell (Kassandra), granddaughter Autumn Hurley (Austin), great grandson Liam Hurley, several nieces and nephews, long time friends, Jim Hayes, Doug Guider and Billy Frye, along with the many friends he made throughout his life.

Danny was a hard working and dedicated man. He spent 7 years as a firefighter in Michigan. From there he moved to East TN and worked for Knox County Schools until his retirement. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family, friends and his passions.

Danny was an avid hunter, fisherman and pool shark. If he wasn’t at his favorite fishing hole, or in his blind sighting in a deer, you could find him at Carpool Garage, where he greeted every person with the most contagious smile. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed being a part of the crowd, playing pool and listening to the many live bands.

The family of Danny Caldwell would like to thank David Montross and his family for all they have done and continue to do.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you join us for a celebration of life on Sunday November 2, 2025 from 2pm-5pm at Carpool Garage located at 508 N. Main St. Sweetwater, TN 37874.
