Chris Lawrence Wick

Christopher “Chris” Lawrence Wick, age 47 of Paint Rock, passed away on April 4, 2026. Chris loved fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, and working on old cars. He was a jokester who enjoyed making others laugh and loved the life he fought to live.

He worked as a welder at Maremont and later at Hackney, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.

He is preceded by his father Lawrence Wick Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Ann Wick; mother, Anita Ellison and husband Ricky; sister, Cindy Burnette and husband Clay; step-daughter, Sara Cliff; nephews, Tommy Hodge, Dillon Burnette, and Travis Burnette; niece, Emily Markley; along with several cousins and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 1:00–3:00 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Cedar Fork Cemetery with Casey Stout and Michael Britton officiating.
