Charles Lumpkin

Charles H. Lumpkin 72, of Lenoir City, formerly of Blue Grass, died Sunday Morning, January 22, 2017. Charles was a faithful member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and is preceded in death by parents, Smokey and Dortha (Cooper) Lumpkin; wife, Fay Lumpkin; and brother, Bobby Lumpkin. Survivors: wife, Julia Lumpkin; daughter, Rhonda and husband, Dale Bradley, of GA; brother, Hobart and Beryl Lumpkin and son, Brandon; two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Jacob Bradley; step-daughter, Arlene and husband Dick King, of Knoxville, Stephen, and Sally McNutt, of Corryton; and many, many friends. Funeral service 7 p.m. Thursday at Beech Grove Baptist Church, 2733 Tooles Bend Rd, Knoxville, with Rev. Dewey Brown officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, at Shady Grove Cemetery, for Interment. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Beech Grove Baptist Church.
