Charles Gray

Charles A. Gray, age 86, of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020.  He loved his church and was a Deacon at New Macedonia Baptist Church for 60 years. Charles was preceded in death by son, Michael Wayne “Shady” Gray; Grandson, Patrick Dalton; Parents, George and Minnie Shults Gray; Brothers, Earl and Glen Gray; and sister, Evelyn Rogers. He is survived by wife of 63 years, Louise Campbell Gray; Children, Pam Gray and Brad Gray; Sisters, Betty Millsaps, Kate Anderson, Carolyn Centers and husband, Danny, Pat Smith, and Jama Collins; Brother, John “Doc” Gray and wife, Ruth; and Sister-in-law, Sandra Gray. Charles is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Family and friends may visit, at their convenience, between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm at Loudon Funeral Home on Sunday, May 24, 2020.  Graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at New Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Military Honors will be conferred by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard and the U. S. Army Honor Guard. Online condolences may be left for the family at  Loudon Funeral Home and Cremations is in charge of these arrangements.
