Loudon

Chad Andrew Lane, age 50 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024. He loved sports, hunting and fishing, the Redskins, the Vols, and the Braves. He loved being around his children and grandchildren very much. He worked at Yale Locks and Hardware for 20 years and Loudon Utilities for 10 years. He was currently employed by Custom Foods in Knoxville as a grade three Wastewater operator. From 2009 to 2013 he volunteered every day after work to reconstruct the Loudon High School Baseball facilities. He was the P.A. announcer for Loudon High School Baseball and he was the President of the baseball booster club. He was an All-District golfer at Loudon High School in 1991. Chad had a multitude of friends and was loved by all he knew. He was a prominent member of the community and contributed where he could, but most of all he loved his family. Go Redskins!
