Carol Ann Blankenship entered Heaven’s gates on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, and a great friend. She was a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church and had a strong faith in Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie Lynn Amos Sr. and Ruby Frye Amos; father-in-law, Kenny Blankenship; grandmothers, Cora Frye and Irene Amos; and aunt, Barbara West.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Kenneth “Randy” Blankenship; daughters, Rebecca Jill Coker and Lacey Cameron Blankenship; grandchildren, Darren Coker and Arli June Sutton; brother, Jackie “Junior” Amos; mother-in-law, Bobbie Jean Blankenship; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Loudon Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Rick Kirkland officiating. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at New Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Greg Jameson officiating.
