Calvin McCarter

Calvin McCarter, age 62, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017. He was the husband of Paula McCarter. They shared 36 years of marriage together. Born in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of Lafate and Lucile McCarter. He was the owner of Loudon County Upholstery, along with his wife. He will be remembered for his love for his family, a hard worker and the artist he was as an upholsterer. He was preceded in death by his parents and his favorite Uncle, Dewey McCarter. He is survived by his wife, Paula; children, Eugene and Cheyenne McCarter and Koda and Barry Rogers; grandchildren, Dejah, Madison and Tristan McCarter and Nathanael and Daniel Rogers. Funeral service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, Loudon Funeral Home, with Rev. Harvey Harmon officiating. The family and friends will meet 11:00 am, Wednesday at Union Fork Creek Cemetery for graveside service. The family will receive friends 5pm - 7pm Tuesday. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
