Bobby Earl Queen

Bobby Queen, age 87 of Loudon, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Bobby retired from Yale Securities. He was a member of Stockton Valley Baptist Church. He loved watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports and working in the yard.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Queen, daughter, Anne Laughlin, parents; Howard and Bessie Queen, siblings; Birdie, Howard “J.R.”, Edna, and Bud.

He is survived by son, Dennis Queen and wife Pam, grandchildren, Heather Bethel and husband Patrick, Ryan Queen and wife Nikki, Daniel Laughlin and wife Becca, great-grandchildren, Emma, Nolan, Brennan, Navy Mae, and Addie Kate, siblings; Jobina, Nancy, Harold, Carol, and Claudette, several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family would like to say a special thank you to caregiver Ashley “that girl’ Rolen.  

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 5-7pm at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow with Preachers Harold Queen, Adam Cook, and Ross Woody officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 11am at Roberson Springs Cemetery.
