Billy Allen Russell

Billy Allen Russell, age 89, of Loudon, passed away at his home on August 20, 2026.

Billy worked at Maremont for more than 30 years. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially taking bus tours and seeing new places together. He also loved watching golf and spending time enjoying the simple pleasures of life. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Edna Russell; daughter, Pam Hill; parents, Henry Lee and Ruby Ray Lee Russell; grandson, Dustin Branson; three brothers; and one sister.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Angie Branson and husband, Melvin; grandchildren, Greg Lambert and wife, Heather, Brittni Townson and husband, Blake, and Brandon Hill and wife, Makayla; great-grandchildren, Ethan Lambert, Kruz Townson, Rylee Townson, and Sawyer Hill; sisters, Betty Russell, Dorothy Gibson, and Lena Webb and husband, Gene; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Sunday August 23, 2026 from 12:00-2:00pm. The graveside service will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Fred Tate officiating.
