Betty Jo Lively

Betty Jo Shaw Lively, age 73 of Loudon, went Home on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her home surrounded by family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Betty Jo is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Lively; parents, John and Waunita Shaw; infant granddaughter, Shena Purdy; brother, Billy Shaw; sister, Elizabeth Kelly. She is survived by her children, Gene Lively and wife April, Tina Lively and husband Bill Collis; grandchildren, Chelsie Foxx, Brent Purdy, Dalton Lively and wife Ashley, Jacob Lively and fiance Savannah, Zachary Lance, Brandon Lively, Brittany Lively, Skyenne Lance and fiance Josh, Cheyenne Lance; great-grandchildren, Clayton Foxx and fiance Arianna Hayes, Skylar Foxx, Braxton Foxx, Logan Kinder, Alayah Lance, Marceline Lively, Brennyn Purdy; sisters, Deana Lively late husband Jimmy, Brenda Collins and husband Tim, Peggy Jacobs and husband Mike; brothers, Paul Shaw and wife Toni, Carl Shaw and wife Linda, Jacky Shaw and wife Teresa, Matthew Ledford and wife Marsha; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Loudon Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Michael Jacobs officiating. Graveside service will be Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11 AM at New Macedonia Church Cemetery.
