HARPER, BETTY ARDEN COOLEY - 78 of Maple St., Sweetwater, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011. Betty was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church & preceded in death by husband, B.D. Cooley; parents, Lonnie & Nellie Arden; sisters, Stella Arden & Rosie Phelps; brothers, Hugh, Fred, Elmer, Lonnie, Floyd & Roscoe Arden. Survivors: daughter, Diane Cooley Farmer & husband, Jim; grandson, Jason Farmer, Hampton, VA; sisters, Louise Tutterrow, Indiana, Alice Thompson, Chattanooga, Peanut Jackson, Philadelphia & Booty Martin, Lenoir City; like a sister, Maggie Raby, Sweetwater; sisters in law, Jo Ann Arden & Effie Arden, Loudon; special friend, Dorothy Powell, Sweetwater. Funeral services 8 p.m. Tuesday Loudon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jerry Key & Rev. Michael McLemore officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Wednesday Cedar Valley Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm.
