Betty Atwood

ATWOOD, BETTY LOUISE OGLE - age 71 of Karns, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday October 21, 2010 following a short battle with cancer. She was a member of Beaver Ridge United Methodist Church and a retired Beautician. Louise always put the wants and needs of everyone before her own. Preceded in death by dad and mom (Lee and Mae) Ogle. She is sur-vived by her husband of 53 years, Allen Atwood; son Ed Atwood, wife Genoa; daughter Pam Ogle, husband Keith; grandsons Allen Harden, wife Stephanie; Nicholas Harden, wife Amanda; and Cory Har-den; great-granddaughters, Jullet Lallaith Harden and Abigail Renee Louise Harden; sisters Helen Cummings, husband Rudy; Margaret Gann, husband Bud; and Charlotte Thomas, husband Jim; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Reba Smitty, Rossie Ogle and Caris Healthcare for their home care in the recent months. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 pm Sunday at Beaver Ridge United Methodist Church with Memorial service to follow at 3:30 with Rev. Catherine Nance.
