Bernice Parks, age 78, of Dayton, formerly of Loudon, passed away Thursday morning at her home. Preceded in death by parents; Luke Nix Sr. and Cindy Oody Nix, by sisters; Ella Green, Iva Lee Stephens, brothers; Fred, Ed, Charlie, Bob, Hobert, Paul, and Luke Nix Jr. Survivors include one child, Phillip Nix of Dayton, sisters; Marjorie Young of Athens, Della Jones and husband Kyle of Rockford Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Corinth Cemetery with Earl Nix officiating.
