Beecher Thompson, age 87 of Loudon, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He was a member of Stockton Valley Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army. Preceded in death by parents, Arvil and Mae Rich Thompson; brothers, Blake and Billy Thompson and sister, Blanche Mayfield. He is survived by wife of 65 years, Janette Thompson; son, Danny Thompson and wife Kathy; daughter, Sandy Barker and husband David; grandchildren, Rick, Lauren, Lindsay, Riley, Zachary and Kelly; great grandchildren, Calvin and Isaiah; brother, Earl Thompson and wife ,Bobbie. Funeral service will be held 6:00 pm Friday, Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Adam Cook officiating. Family and Friends will meet at 1:00 pm Saturday, Sweetwater Memorial Gardens for graveside service. Family will receive friends 4 - 6 pm Friday.
