Angela Branson

Angela “Angie” Dawn Branson, age 56, of Rockwood, passed away on September 3, 2026.

Angie worked at Pellissippi State for 34 years. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dustin Branson; her parents, Edna and Billy Russell; and her sister, Pam Hill.

Angie is survived by her husband, Melvin Branson; nephews, Greg Lambert and wife, Heather, and Brandon Hill and wife, Makayla; niece, Brittni Townson and husband, Blake; great-nieces and great-nephews, Lambert, Kruz Townson, Rylee Townson, and Sawyer Hill; along with aunts, uncles, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at Loudon Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Union Fork Creek Cemetery.
