Dean was a retired employee of Yale Security & a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Philadelphia. Preceded in death by husband, Arthur C. (Babe) Brown; children, Clarissa, Crandle & Gary Brown; parents, Arthur Nelson & Lucy Love McPherson; sister, Minnie Wooldridge.
